Well my carpet cleaning tip for today is:
If you spill something on your wool carpet whatever you do dont use hot water to try and remove the stain, hot water on wool will set the stain in the fibre and make it either very difficult or impossible to remove. The best thing you can do is try to absorb as much of the spillage as possible with a cloth, do not rub the stain as this will just spread it around, apply pressure to the cloth to soak up as much as possible. Once you have removed as much of the spillage as possible you should call a professional to tackle the stain. The younger the stain the more chance of 100% complete removal so dont delay arrange for someone to come round as soon as possible.
Hope you find this helpful.
